The latest installment to the highly acclaimed Halo franchise, Halo: Spartan Assault will be available, via download, to the Xbox 360 tomorrow. The game features a new immersive story, bridging the gap of Halo 3 and Halo 4, and expanding on the Human-Covenant conflict and the rise of Commander Sarah Palmer, first introduced in Halo 4. Previously, Spartan Assault was exclusively available for Window 8 devices and the Xbox One.
The game includes 30 single-player missions spanning throughout the Halo universe, new enemies – including the return of the Flood, last seen in Halo 3; new weapons to help combat the ever-increasing threat of the Covenant; a co-operative multiplayer, where players must work together to combat the Covenant threat.
The game will be available via download for the cost of $19.95 AUD via the Xbox 360 Games Marketplace. For those previously downloaded the game for Window 8 devices prior Dec. 15, 2013; a discount will be available. Instructions for the discount can be found here.
