Earlier today, Tapbots said on their twitter that if this tweet was retweeted 1000+ times, they would release something new… So after around 30 minutes, with people waiting excitedly, they announced TweetBot for iPad. TweetBot for iPhone is known for its looks and functionality, so for many, news that their favourite Twitter iOS app is now available on iPad, is great news.
The iPad version of TweetBot has pretty much all the functionality found in the iPhone and iPod touch version, just on a bigger screen (duh). This includes swiping left and right for conversations and replies, smart gestures (double and triple tapping on tweets and links), multiple timelines and much more.
For those of you who want to try and buy it, it is available for $2.99 here. Personally, if I had an iPad, Tweetbot for iPad would be on it the minute it was available download.
