Telstra has opened up preorders for both the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, and has revealed their pricing plans for both phones. However, with the outright prices for the iPhone 5s higher than the iPhone 5s and the not-so-cheap price for the iPhone 5c, expect to spend a bit more per month if you want your hands on the new iPhones on Telstra.
From the table below, you can obviously see that you will pay a monthly handset repayment fee, with the exception of the iPhone 5c 16GB if you sign up on the Everyday Connect L or Everyday Connect XL plan.
Plan | iPhone 5c 16GB | iPhone 5c 36GB | iPhone 5s 16GB | iPhone 5s 32GB | iPhone 5s 64GB |
Everyday Connect S ($60) | $71 | $78 | $78 | $82 | $90 |
Everyday Connect M ($80) | $82 | $88 | $88 | $92 | $101 |
Everyday Connect L ($100) | $100 | $104 | $104 | $109 | $115 |
Everyday Connect XL ($130) | $130 | $134 | $134 | $139 | $145 |
If you’re planning to shop around, then fingers crossed we see plans a tad cheaper on Optus and Vodafone; and we’ll start comparing them if its better to go outright or buy it through a plan. Don’t forget the plans are 24-month contracts as well.
You can place a pre-order on their site.
