If you have been waiting for an excuse to get a Wii U – well, now you have one. Nintendo has confirmed that there will be a new Super Smash Bros game for not only the Wii U, but also for the Nintendo 3DS. And while it isn’t coming until next year, they have added two characters to its already giant list of playable characters.
The two new characters are: Animal Crossing’s Villager and Capcom’s Megaman. The addition of the latter is the third character to be added that isn’t a Nintendo property – the first two was Solid Snake from Konami’s Metal Gear Solid, and Sega’s Sonic (which incidentally is now a Nintendo exclusive for three games).
Super Smash Bros for the Wii U and 3DS will be developed by Sora and Namco Bandai.
