Smartwatch’s are cool, but they never actually look that nice. Even the Moto 360 is pretty gadget-y. But if CES has taught us one thing, it’s that this is all about to change.
Sony’s new SmartWatch 3, which should be coming in 2015, has been detailed more through Sony’s CES 2015 keynote, with the company showing off a new Stainless Steel model, as well as repeating the features of Android Wear, which the watch is now powered by. And gosh darn this thing looks cool.
Releasing worldwide starting February, the SmartWatch 3 has a 1.6-inch, 320 x 320 transflective LCD display and also has a built-in GPS for health-tracking. Custom watchbands will also be supported later in 2015, with Sony to release a 24mm holder. In the end though, it’s another Android Wear watch, so don’t expect any insane or at least unheard-of software features.
