Spotify updates Android app - includes ICS support, new interface

Spotify has pushed out a new update for its Android app, which now has full support for Ice Cream Sandwich and a brand new, faster and streamlined interface that looks like a native application for both Honeycomb and Ice Cream Sandwich phones.

Android users will be also pleased to hear that it also have crossfade and gapless playback settings, Playlist folder support, a play queue and Last.FM scrobbling. A widget for your homescreen is now available, so you can control Spotify without switching back and forth to the app.

You will need Spotify Premium in order to use the app to stream music from Spotify’s library. You can download it from Google Play.
