Square Enix’s Sleeping Dogs has a European (and PAL territories) release date. The open world cop game will be on sale on August 17 – three days after its US release date – for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Gallery can be found, after the jump.
So what is this game? Well, according to the summary, you play an undercover cop in Hong Kong and you are pretty much tasked in taking down a criminal organisation from the inside. The game is essentially a reboot of the True Crimes series by Activision and was started by them, before they cancelled it and sold it onto Square Enix.
Apologies for the GP watermark – turns out, Square Enix likes to put watermarks despite other publishers don’t.
