Samsung’s Galaxy Mega, with its ridiculously-big 6.3-inch display, is finally here in Australia. It appears that no carrier has picked this up as of yet, as the only place to get the smartphone is through select JB Hi Fi stores and its Samsung Experience stores.
The phone is pretty much an oversized Galaxy S4 in design, but the specs are pretty so-so. As mentioned, the Galaxy Mega has a 6.3-inch display; however, it has a 1.7GHz dual core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of storage (expandable up to 64GB with a microSD card), an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.9-inch front-facing camera, and LTE support. It runs on Android 4.2 with its TouchWiz skin.
The Galaxy Mega costs $599.
