Samsung is planning to open another Samsung Experience store in Melbourne – its third store nationwide. According to job advertisements seen by TechGeek, the new store will be located in Melbourne Central.
Advertisements for casual and full-time customer service and sales staff, and Smart Tutors (their equivalent of Apple’s Genius team) were posted last week by “Australian Retail Management Services”, who are managing the stores for Samsung. ARMS is owned by AMT Group, who also own Allphones.
Samsung has two stores in Australia – in Sydney’s CBD and Highpoint Shopping Centre in Melbourne’s western suburbs. Placing a store in Melbourne’s CBD is a smart move for Samsung as it now gives them a better presence to sell Samsung products to.
We are not sure of the date when the store will open, but we will keep our eyes on it.
