After revealing a whole bunch of tablets back at CES last week, Samsung has today revealed another one for its Galaxy Tab 3 lineup. Called the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, the 7-inch tablet is pretty much a low-spec Android tablet that seems like a rehash of another 7-inch tablet in the same line – the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0.

Pretty much, there is little difference in the spec sheet between the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 model and the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. Both feature the same 1.2GHz dual-core processor, the same display and resolution (1024 x 600), the same amount of RAM (1GB), and the same amount of storage (8GB). They both even have a microSD card slot that can hold up to 32GB of storage.

The only major differences include the camera, battery and the Android version it is running. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has two cameras – including a 3-megapixel rear camera – and runs on Android 4.1; while the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite has one camera that is only 2-megapixels and at the back of the device, and runs on Android 4.2. The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite also has a slightly smaller 3,600mAh battery, compared to the 4,000mAH battery on the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0.

The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite will be available in Wi-Fi and 3G models, but no word on international availability as of yet.
