Samsung Galaxy Note II coming to Telstra, Optus, Vodafone

Samsung has revealed the pricing and availability of the Galaxy Note II. The phone will be available from next week with all three major carriers – Optus, Vodafone and Telstra – carrying the phone.

The phone will also be available through the Samsung Experience Store for $899. Of course, the big three haven’t released their pricing. However, Android Australia is saying that the phones will be released tomorrow on Optus and Vodafone. If so, then we will hear more about pricing by tomorrow morning.

The Galaxy Note II features a 5.5-inch screen (yes, it is that big), and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and on a 1.6-GHz processor. The model Australia is getting will support 4G, so expect it to run on Optus’ and Telstra’s 4G networks. And like the Galaxy Note, this will also feature a S-Pen for you to write your notes down (which is a bit better than trying to type with the on-screen keyboard).

A video has been posted by Samsung Australia to promote the phone – by using Ricki-Lee and Sam Sparro to produce a new track called “Ninja”, and composing the melody and lyrics of the song on the aforementioned phone. Um, right?
