Samsung has announced its latest addition to the Gear smartwatch line with the Samsung Gear Fit – a smartband puts the company head-on with the FitBit. With a 1.84-inch curved Super AMOLED design and a changeable strap, the Gear Fit is designed to be lightweight and durable when you’re working out.
Hardware specs include a 1.84-inch curved Super AMOLED display – the first smartwatch to feature such a thing – and will include a heart rate monitor. Like all Samsung Gear devices, it will also notify you of any incoming calls or notifications so you can still be connected; and features a changeable strap.
The Gear Fit has a battery life of around 3-4 days, and will be available from April.
