Briefly – The Raspberry Pi B+ has just received a price cut – you can now pick one up for just $25 (plus shipping). The Raspberry Pi Foundation are claiming this is due to efficiencies in the manufacturing of the computer since it’s introduction, however, this may be in response to the new $9 CHIP microcomputer which found it’s way onto Kickstarter recently. So if you’re interested in picking one up and been holding off due to price, now is the best time to grab one!
Raspberry Pi Foundation mentioned that the new price will take a few days to reach all the distributors but here in Australia, Element 14 and RS Components are usually your best bet.
