NETGEAR have announced their new Powerline 500 Nano range. This very small device allows you to convert any old power point into a “high speed” network connection. With speeds up to 500Mbps, the Powerline 500 Nano will happily play HD videos, SD videos and even 3D video. Of course, these devices can be used as a simple network port for use with a Computer, Blu-ray Player, SmartTV, Set top box, gaming console plus everything that has a Ethernet port. NETGEAR have mentioned that these devices have a low latency, which would be perfect for a gamer needing that fast connection.
