Outlook.com turns one since replacing Hotmail

Microsoft is celebrating the first birthday of its free email service, Outlook.com. It’s been a whole year since the service was introduced and set to replace Hotmail. The service offers a revamped interface and user experience, new features and improved integration with other Microsoft services (like Skype). Microsoft have also slowly rolled out improvements to the service after being well-received by users.

In a post on the Outlook Blog, Microsoft’s Dick Craddock said “You’ve been a tremendous help in making Outlook.com a better service for all of us-and the world’s fastest growing email service-so we want to take a moment to say thank you. Your feedback has been key to delivering over 600 additions, changes and improvements, packaged in 34 feature releases in the last year.”

The Outlook Blog also contained an infographic which shows the changes implemented from user-feedback:
