Optus has announced that it will be adding the LG Optimus F5 to its prepaid smartphone lineup. Featuring a 4.3-inch screen, a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor and running Android 4.1.2, it is the first prepaid phone that can connect to its 4G network.
The Optimus F5 also comes with LG’s user interface additions like QSlide – which lets you open multiple apps at the same time in full screen mode; Live Zooming, which lets you zoom into videos at any specific area; Video Wiz, which lets you edit the video and enhance them on the phone; and QTrsnalator, which will automatically translate words, sentences and phrases by using the camera to scan the text.
Optus will be selling the phone for $299 prepaid, or $0 upfront on its $35 Optus plan on a 24 month contract. You can purchase the phone on its website.
