Well, oops? Harvey Norman has jumped the gun and inadvertently revealed the availability and pricing of the Nokia Lumia 1520 – its brand new Windows Phone featuring a 6-inch display and a quad-core processor. According to a recent catalogue, which you can find at Lasoo, the Lumia 1520 will be priced at $894 at Harvey Norman. It will also come with a $20 Apps voucher.
The catalogue is their Christmas Shopping Guide, and is already in effect until December 15. This pretty much means we can expect an announcement by Nokia Australia sometime soon. The phone wasn’t expected to launch in Australia this early, as the Finnish phone maker indicated only Singapore, Hong Kong, the US, China, the UK, France, Germany and Finland as the first launch countries.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 was announced back in October during Nokia World. Other hardware specs include a 20-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, 4G connectivity, NFC, and Wireless Charging support. It runs on Windows Phone with a slight modification to the home screen to take advantage of the bigger screen size.
No word on subsidised pricing from the carriers, however.
