Nokia confirms Lumia 1520 is coming to Australia via Harvey Norman

On Sunday, Harvey Norman accidentally revealed that they were going to sell the Lumia 1520. Today, Nokia Australia has confirmed that the Lumia 1520 is indeed coming to the electronics store.

It will be an exclusive initially – we assume that the press release was quickly written up after they found out, so they didn’t have time to confirm carrier availability – from December 11. It will be priced $899 with a free $20 apps voucher for the Windows Phone Store until January 15. Customers can preorder the phone from November 26.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 was announced back in October during Nokia World. Hardware specs include a 6-inch screen, quad-core processor, a 20-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, 4G connectivity, NFC, and Wireless Charging support. It runs on Windows Phone with a slight modification to the home screen to take advantage of the bigger screen size.
