Like previous smartphone announcements, Nokia tends to release a lower-end phone that pretty much has the same features but with lower specs. This is no different – introducing the Lumia 1320, the lower-spec brother to the Lumia 1520. It also features a 6-inch display, but has a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 5-megapixel rear camera.

Other hardware specs include 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage with a microSD card slot, and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The Lumia 1320 also includes Bluetooth 4.0 with LE, 4G connectivity and Wi-Fi support.

Like the Lumia 1520, it too will come with all the features available in the Lumia line, including the Nokia Camera app, Nokia Music, HERE Maps, Storyteller, and Papyrus – its equivalent to S Note, which lets you write handwritten notes.

The Lumia 1320 starts shipping in the beginning of next year, with a price tag of US$339. It will start in China and Vietnam, before heading to other Asian markets, India and Europe. No word on Australian availability as of yet.
