New technology uses your eye gaze to move around your desktop

CES isn’t just about the product announcements, but also a showcase of new and innovative forms of technology that could come soon. Like this one – a company called Tobii has today announced the Tobii Gaze interface, which lets you your eyes to maneuver your computer.

It uses the combination of your eye gaze and touchpad to scroll up, zoom, activate and select; and they will be demoing this at CES this year with Windows 8 – which is interesting. It has been described as creating something natural “on all devices”, according to Business Development Manager Anderes Olsson, in a press release.

A video demonstration can be found, after the jump.
