Tech Guide is reporting that Netflix will launch in Australia on March 31. The service will launch with a three-tier pricing system which starts at $9.99 per month. The date and pricing was confirmed by Tech Guide through a source during CES in Las Vegas. Netflix, however, were tight-lipped during CES about any details regarding the Australian Launch.

Previously, Netflix haven’t revealed too many details about the launch, except to say that many of its original programming – including its new series Marco Polo – will be available from launch day. That does not mean all of its programming will be available though, as Foxtel currently has the rights to two of Netflix’s famous originals: House of Cards and Orange is the New Black. However, there is a report from the Daily Telegraph that says Foxtel may have lost the rights to House of Cards and has one more year before Orange is the New Black heads to Netflix.
