It’s official, early this morning Netflix Australia confirmed pricing for the launch of Netflix tomorrow morning. After a leak of pricing and content on Reddit last night,the company has released pricing and content information ahead of it’s launch on Tuesday 24th March. The monthly pricing is as follows:
- Single SD Streaming at $8.99 AUD
- Two Stream HD Streaming at $11.99 AUD
- Four Stream 4K Streaming at $14.99 AUD
Plus a one month free trial is available to new customers, to try the service out before paying for it. Additionally, if you’ve already signed up to Netflix in another region, you won’t have to pay separately for Netflix AU. (we are confirming this with Netflix AU)
Netflix Australia has also noted that Seasons One and Two of Orange is the New Black will be available from launch and when Season Three launches on June 12, Australians will have access to it immediately. House of Cards will also be available to stream with the press release noting that Netflix will be the “exclusive premiere home for season three”.
Customers can purchase Netflix gift cards from Woolworths, Coles, Big W, EB Games, 7-Eleven, Australia Post and Officeworks in denominations of $20, $30 and $50.
