Neatamo's June bracelet is $99 worth of common sense

Is the Australian sun leaving you red-faced? Netatmo’s June bracelet is the solution, they think. On display at CES 2014, the gemstone bracelet, which will cost $99 USD and come in gold, gunmetal, or platinum, synchronises with an iOS app to inform you of current sun exposure. It will then recommend a hat, sunblock, or sunglasses.

The device doesn’t have a screen, with a design by Louis Vuitton and Camille Toupet replacing that functionality. Instead, an iOS app is required to actually use the bracelet. It’s expensive and pointless, since it isn’t exactly rocket-science to assume that if you’re in the sun, you should probably slip, slop, slap, seek, and slide anyway.
