It has been confirmed that your save data on the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft will transfer over to the Xbox One version of the game. With over 12 million copies sold on the Xbox 360, this is definitely huge news for those who have spent countless hours playing on their 360 worlds, also great news for the guys at Achievement Hunter.
Phil Spencer from Xbox says “After months of teaming up with Mojang, we can confirm that Minecraft [Xbox 360] Edition will save transfer to Xbox One Edition,” promising “more news soon” hopefully about the save data transfers, Xbox One features and a release date on the game
The Xbox One version is said to release before Q3, whereas the PS4 and Vita versions are set to release by September of this year. Mojang also has similar plans to support the transfer of saves from the PS3 version to the PS4 version.
