Microsoft reveals Surface 2.0 - now in collaboration with Samsung

Microsoft has used its keynote to unveil the newest version of the Surface platform it has developed. Now collaborating with Korean electronics maker Samsung, Surface 2.0 brings a much needed stylised redesign, making it more like an actual table rather than a box.

As well, Surface 2.0 expands on the original product with new technologies that make it more aware of multitouch capabilities, and now ditches the cameras at the bottom at the box for sensors with its thinner design.

The one above is Samsung’s SUR40 – showcased at Microsoft’s Keynote – and can be used as a table or even can be hanged on a wall and used as a touchscreen interface for presenting information.
