E3 2012: Microsoft and Nike have partnered up with each other to launch a new “Nikie+ Kinect Training” game that claims to be a “custom training program” that has been designed to help athletes of all levels to “reach their potential in the comfort of their own home”.
With the Kinect, the game can see how your body moves, assess your physical strengths and identify areas of improvement. It will also create a customised workout plan to “help you achieve your personal best”.
In essence, it’s like Wii Fit, but with HD graphics. However, you will be able to connect within the Xbox Live or Nike+ community, and work out with your friends. You will also be able to keep your workouts in check with a mobile app, which most likely syncs it to Nike+ and it reads it from there.
The game is to be released during the holiday season this year.
