Microsoft have announced their new Explorer Touch Mouse. It’s their third multitouch mouse, the others being the Touch Mouse and the Arc Touch Mouse. The major selling point of the Explorer mouse is the added touch strip that supports four way scrolling. Additionally, the scrolling has three speed settings.
Some other features include five programmable buttons, smooth design and curvy looks.
It boasts an 18 month battery life (according to Microsoft), however, it uses RF technology, no bluetooth so it will take up yet another USB port. The mouse is Mac OS X compatible and should arrive in September selling for around $50 USD. Check out more here.
