CES 2009 : LG has announced that it will bring out its LH95 LCD TV to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, which happens in January; and has branded it as the world’s thinnest LED-illuminated LCD TV out there in the world. Being only 24.8mm thick, it is slightly thicker to the MacBook Air, which is only 19.3mm; it also features a 240Hz TrueMotion Drive for blur-free video reproduction and a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 – almost placing it in the same image quality class as the old-fashion pictures.

Pricing is unknown, but it is hoping to win the CES Innovation Award in the display category.
