LG Optimus 7 phone specs leaked after accidental posting

While the Windows Phone 7 announcement doesn’t happen until 9:30am San Francisco time – just under a few hours – LG has accidentally leaked its Windows Phone 7 phone it will be releasing soon before taking it down – but a Google cache and the images are still uploaded on the server.

Keeping it under its Optimus line of phones, the LG Optimus 7 (guess where that comes from) features a 3.8-inch WVGA screen with 16GB of onboard storage, a 5-megapixel camera with an LED flash, Bluetooth 2.1 support, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an accelerometer, allowing you to switch the phone’s orientation.

Of course, the phone’s main feature is Windows Phone 7 – Microsoft’s revival of its Windows Mobile line. It has redesigned the entire OS from the ground up, and has integrated Xbox Live and its Zune platforms onto the device – both established Microsoft brands in the gaming and music industry (something Apple is already in with its iOS devices) alongside a cleaner interface.

Microsoft has also made it strict, meaning that devices have to meet hardware specifications and are not able to change the interface – something that Microsoft had allowed in previous versions of Windows Mobile. So, when HTC makes its announcement, its not going to bring out a customised version of the interface.

The blog post that was accidentally leaked mentions no release date or international availability. Gallery is below, after the jump.
