LG Australia revealed earlier today that the LG Lifeband Touch, the company’s latest smartwatch/fitness tracker, will be coming to Australia in late May. The company announced the product back at CES earlier this year.
Designed to comfortably fit on your wrist, the Lifeband Touch has a 3-axis accelerometer and altimeter to measure the usual things that all fitness devices track: distance, speed, number of steps, and calories burned. Users will be able to swipe between phone notifications, the clock, and activity and music controls with a swipe of a finger via the OLED display.
Like many other devices as well, the Lifeband Touch is compatible with both Android and iOS via Bluetooth. Users can download the LG Fitness App to track their progress, or use one of the many third-party apps like MyFitnessPal and Runkeeper.
It will be available for $199 from Harvey Norman, JB Hi Fi and Bing Lee.
