Running Ice Cream Sandwich, featuring a 4.3-inch display and a body that is designed to avoid the nasty legal issues with Apple (it’s very oblong) – the LG Optimus L7 will be launching in Europe this month, soon followed by launches in Asia.
The Optimus L7, part of its ‘L-Series’ of phones, is also said to include a new UI that would allow multi-tasking. And looking at the images, it appears that they have done little changes to the UI, maybe changing icons but not the overall experience. It also features zero-speed shutter on its five-megapixel camera.
However, for some unknown reason, LG has pretty much kept a tight lip on what its specs are (even this announcement has little detail) – and probably we’ll see what it has inside once we get a European launch date. We do know that it as a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, 5-megapixel camera (as mentioned above) and a 1GHz processor. It will also include DLNA and NFC support.
No pricing as of yet, but a rough guide would be pricing it similar to the Galaxy S II.
