iHealth is about to turn your iPad, iPod touch or iPhone into a blood pressure monitoring system with its new Blood Pressure Monitoring System product (what is in italics is its actual product name). Comprising of a dock, blood pressure arm cuff and an application, users will now be able to determine their blood pressure easily.
The application will feature an easy-to-use interface, and will be able to access previously recorded data, view patterns by date and time of day, and can share their results instantly to their doctor or, even weirder, their loved ones.
It will cost $99.95 for the dock and the arm cuff, but the app will be free from the App Store. Thankfully, the product hasn’t been announced to be released anywhere else outside of the United States.
