The HTC One V is now officially in Australia, partnering with Optus to bring it to many Australians. Featuring medium specs such as a 3.7-inch display and a 5-megpixel camera, the phone is attracting those who are under its low-middle plans.
The phone also runs on Ice Cream Sandwich with its Sense UI. Inside, the phone has a 1GHz processor, 4GB of storage and 512MB of RAM. The camera has zero shutter delay, record in 720p HD and can take up to 30 shots at 4 frames per second with continuous shooting on.
As usual, HTC has put “Beats Audio” integration – which does require you to have a pair of Beats headphones to take full advantage of this (of course, if you’re willing to pay for overpriced and flimsy headphones). In addition, you will be able to get 25GB free from Dropbox – another thing that is available for all HTC phones under the One series brand.
The phone is on Optus and available now through its website under its $30 Optus Plan with no upfront cost.
