HTC has announced the Australian availability of its long-awaited HTC One smartphone. Launching on all major carriers – Optus, Telstra, Vodafone and Virgin Mobile; all four will start preorders from tomorrow, before hitting stores on April 23.
So what are the pricing details from each carrier?
- Telstra is pricing this at $70 per month – $60 Everyday Connect Plan with a $10 monthly handset repayment fee. It includes $600 worth of included calls to Australian numbers, unlimited national SMS and 1GB of data. You can purchase it outright for $768.
- Optus’ price is $63 per month – $60 Optus Plan with a $3 monthly handset repayment fee.
- Vodafone will offer this for $63 per month – $60 Plan with a
$5$3 monthly handset repayment fee. It includes $700 of standard and international calls and 1.5GB of data. (Vodafone changed their plans at the last minute) - Virgin Mobile’s price is $62 per month – under its $59 Big Plan with a $3 monthly handset repayment fee. Under that you get $700 of credit, free voicemail, unlimited calls and text to any Virgin number and 3GB of data.
All carriers will let customers preorder from their respective websites – with Virgin Mobile confirming that they will start preorders from 9:30am.
