Halo 5: Guardians ‒ Release date & Live action trailers

Today, two live-action Halo 5: Guardians trailers were released during (and after) the Season 5 finale of The Walking Dead. With both trailers setting up “one of the most epic showdowns in entertainment history”

“The Master Chief. Spartan Locke. Who is the hunter and who is the hunted?”

Said Microsoft in a press release. The trailer that aired during the TWD finale, shows Spartan Locke walking through a destroyed human city, walking towards a wounded Master Chief, blaming him for the destruction and telling Chief that he “was supposed to save us all”. The trailer ends as he draws his pistol and points it at the Chief.

Whereas in the other video that aired after the season finale, showed a different side of the story, reversing the roles of Locke and Chief. Master Chief walks through the destroyed city, saying “was everything you’ve done, worth it?” as he looks at a statue of himself, and Spartan Locke. With a similar ending, Master Chief switches to his pistol and points it at Locke.

Revealed at the end of these trailers, Halo 5: Guardians will release October 27th, 2015 on the Xbox One. Who do you think is telling the truth? Master Chief or Spartan Locke? #HuntTheTruth
