Well, Australian Android fanboys would have woken up happy this morning. Google has now officially launched the new Nexus 7 in Australia, sending out an email blast and letting Australians finally order the tablet from the Google Play store.

Google’s prices are exactly the same as what has been priced by other stores – meaning that the base 16GB Wi-Fi only model will cost $299, and the 32GB Wi-Fi only model will be $339. The 32GB LTE and Wi-Fi Nexus 7 will cost $439. In addition, for a limited time, Google is offering free shipping on the new Nexus 7.

With all that, you better order now because expect that shipping day to increase by those who really want the tablet. Of course, alternatively, you can find it at your nearest electronics retailer like JB Hi Fi and Harvey Norman – if you really want it now.
