If you are still deciding between Microsoft’s OneDrive, Google Drive and Dropbox – that choice has been made a little bit easier. Google has announced its brand new pricing structure for Drive, with its prices undercutting its rivals.
While the 15GB plan remains free, the 100GB plan is now US$1.99 per month instead of $US4.99 per month. In contrast, 100GB on Dropbox will cost US$9.99 per month, while OneDrive will charge AU$8.99 per month to add 100GB to your total storage allocation.
In fact, for the same price as 100GB on Dropbox, you could get 1TB of storage on Google Drive since it’s now $9.99 per month instead of $49.99 per month.
It should be noted that your storage on Google Drive is shared across Google+ Photos, Gmail and Google Drive (this is not the case for OneDrive and Dropbox). As well, Dropbox has better app integration compared to Google Drive and OneDrive.
But, giving 1TB of storage for $10 a month? It sounds so tempting to switch.
