Google brings post-it notes to Android with Google Keep

GoogleKeep

Google has today announced a new notetaking app that is heavily integrated with Google Drive – meaning that all your notes are synced to all your devices (unless your device is a Windows Phone or iPhone). It’s called Google Keep, and you could think of it as a redesigned version of Google Tasks.

Google Keep lets you make lists as well, insert pictures and can transcribe voice memos for you automatically. But shockingly, this isn’t integrated with Google+ just yet – though, knowing Google, they’ll probably integrated it in some way.

However, like I said, this is essentially Tasks redesigned – so get ready to see Tasks killed in the next spring cleaning session then.

You can visit the website or alternatively download the app on Google Play, though you’ll need to be running Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) or above to use it.
