EA has announced a brand new subscription service exclusively for the Xbox One. Called EA Access, gamers with an Xbox Live account pay a monthly fee to have unlimited access to some of EA’s more popular titles, discounts on digital content, and access to trials of new-release titles before their release.
The service is currently in beta and accessible to a select number of players. However, those players will be able to play FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4 right now. EA has promised that the lineup will grow soon.
So, how much will this service cost? For Australian gamers, EA Access will cost $6.99 per month or $39.99 per year. It’s slightly cheaper in the United States, where the service will cost US$4.99 per month and US$29.99 per year.
EA has not announced a date just yet, saying that it is “coming soon”.
