At their E3 briefing, Microsoft revealed two trailers for Halo Wars 2, an RTS game set in the Halo universe, announced that Halo Wars 2 will be releasing next year on the 21st of February. Developed by Creative Assembly, Halo Wars 2 will follow the events of the first game, and continue the story of the Spirit of Fire – introducing the ‘Banished’, a new faction led by a powerful warlord named Atriox.
The game is still in development, but also announced at the Microsoft conference, a multiplayer beta is available right now, for Xbox One players to check out. The beta is 13 GB in size and runs from the 13th to the 20th of June.
Halo Wars 2 will release on Xbox One and Windows 10.
