Dance Central 3: Confirmed Songs and Characters

Announced at this year’s E3, Harmonix are set to release their third Dance Central game this October 19th (16th for North America & Canada). Packed with over 40 tracks ranging from the 70s to 2000s, and a huge variety of new dance moves, Dance Central 3 includes new party-oriented minigames and new modes to motivate people to get off the couch and dance.

Shipping with 40+ tracks, DC3 will have the most memorable songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, and even songs that we hear today. The new Campaign mode will explain why each crew ‘time travels’ to these decades, showing off various dance crazes such as the Macarena and YMCA.

Characters/Crews Confirmed so far are:

  • Lu$h Crew: Angel & Miss Aubrey (70s)
  • Hi-Def: Mo & Glitch (80s)
  • Flash4ward: Taye & Lil’ T (90s)
  • Riptide: Emilia & Bodie (2000s)
    and the new crew ‘Dance Central Intelligence’
  • DCI Crew: Rasa & Lima (Present Day)

From that list, DC3 looks to have the best tracklist in any dancing game to date, and to add to the songs in DC3, DC1 and 2 will be backwards compatible, giving people about 150+ tracks from launch.
