CES 2009 : Motorola has announced three brand new phones that it will sell in 2009; including one that has its casing made out of recycled plastic water bottles (The other two phones will be posted soon).
Called the MOTO W233 Renew, it is 100 percent recyclable and is carbon neutral. And since it is made out recycled plastic water bottles, it claims that it is uses 20 percent less energy to make the phone itself, and claims that you can charge the phone less than you would do with a normal phone.
It also includes a new technology that will “amplify your conversation and help reduce background noise”. It supports the 850 and 1900 GSM bands; but we don’t know if it will support the 3G network. It will available on the T-Mobile network in the US in Q1 2009.
