Konami has just released a playable demo for the latest installment to the Castlevania franchise, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, ahead of its full release early next month, via Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Steam. The playable demo acts as a prelude to the upcoming game, allowing players to explore Dracula’s castle while combating the Brotherhood of Light’s siege. Players are also able to test out key weapons from the game, such as the energy-replenishing Void Sword and armour-breaking Chaos Claws. To top of the demo, there is a giant Titan combat scene with the player traversing the monstrous brute as it assails the castle.
The sequel to the 2010’s action-adventure game Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and the conclusion of the ‘Lords of Shadow’ saga, Lords of Shadow 2 see Dracula combating a darker threat than himself: Satan.
The game is set for release on March 6 in Australia on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Starting from today, players are able to pre-order the game from Steam with a 10% discount.
