Canon has announced a new camera joining the PowerShot line with the SX260 HS. It promises to deliver stunning image quality, even at a distance, thanks to its 20x optical zoom – a big feat for a camera at that size.
It has a 12.1-megapixel lens that is optimal, apparently, for low-light shooting; and also records in 1080p HD video. Other features include GPS geotagging, elevation information to help you plot exactly where you took the photos, and high-speed burst shooting at 10.3 frames per second. It will ship in March for a pricetag of US$349.99.
