Revealed in the most recent edition of OXM (The Official Xbox Magazine), and found by VG247, the Mad Hatter aka Jervis Tetch will be returning in a larger role in Batman: Arkham Origins.
The Mad Hatter made his inaugural apperance in the Arkhamverse in 2011’s Batman: Arkham City in his own side mission using his own unique psychological drugs to manipulate his victims. A bit of background on Jervis Tetch shows that he is a delusional villain convinced that he embodies the Mad Hatter from the fictional story ‘Alice in Wonderland’, it is this persona which often dictates his crimes of kidnapping young girls believing them to be his beloved Alice.
The Mad Hatter joins the cast of the other side mission characters such as Anarky and his martial artists. Other confirmed villains are the assassins Deathstroke, Deadshot, Bane and Copperhead all of whom were hired by Black Mask to kill Batman as well as The Joker voiced by Troy Baker.
