BARGAIN HUNTER: Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson

BARGAIN HUNTER: Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson

Steve Jobs, the biography about the influential man himself by Walter Isaacson, reveals the intricate details about the man behind the iPod, iPhone and iPad – three devices that have revolutionised the way we interact with technology. And it is one of the most-have gifts for techies, if they already haven’t gotten their hands on the book.

Of course, as being the first BARGAIN HUNTER for this year’s Holiday Gift Guide, we found two locations where you can get this book. Locally, Myer is selling this book for AU$24.95, compared to the AU$45 pricetag for the hardcover version – even Myer’s online store is selling for that price. That offer begins from November 23 and ends on December 11.

The other location is, of course, from America. With the Australian and US dollars on parity, it means that the prices from US stores won’t be overall expensive. Amazon is selling this book at US$17.88 – which is around $17.88 in Australian dollars. However, don’t forget, since it is international shipping, you will have to pay for the postage and handling.

However, if you have a Kindle, you can purchase the Kindle version for US$9.99. The book comes with text-to-speech, and according to their website features free international “shipping” via Amazon’s Whispernet – the service it uses to send books to your Kindle.
