Plantronics has announced the local availability and pricing for its wireless earphones, the BackBeat GO 2. Coming in September, the BackBeat GO 2 is designed to appeal to everyone – sportspeople, those on the go, or those who just want a pair of headphones on the train home – without the cords tangling up.
The wireless earphones have a battery life of around 5 hours – however, you can recharge the battery via microUSB, so if you’re running low you can simply plug this in your computer at work before you go home. There is also a carrying case available which can recharge the earphones as well, and it can hold up to two full charges (or 10 hours).
It also has a three-button remote so you can easily control your phone, and is coated with P2i moisture protection so it can repel sweat, rain and drink spills.
The BackBeat GO 2 comes out on September 1 in Vodafone, Telstra, JB Hi Fi and Officeworks stores; and comes in two variants – one with the carrying case for $129.99, and one without the case for $99.99.
