ASUS has today launched the MeMO Pad 8 – its first 8-inch tablet – in Australia. The tablet’s hardware specs includes a quad-core 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, and 16GB of storage onboard (more can be added with the microSDXC card slot). It also runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and reportedly has up to nine hours of battery life.
The tablet is available in white only and is priced at $329. It is available through Harvey Norman.
