ASUS has announced the Australian availability of its new N Series line of multimedia laptops – the N550 and N750.
Both include the new fourth-gen Intel Core processors, an aluminum chassis, and feature a quad-speaker array with its proprietary SonicMaster Premium audio technology, co-developed with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower, for rich audio. They also come with Windows 8.
Other specs include a “gaming-grade” NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 4GB GPU with DirectX 11 support, a 15.6-inch (N550) or 17.3-inch (N750) display with Full HD resolution, and up to 1.5TB of storage. The latter depends on which model, however. You can have up to 1TB in a single hard drive for both, but for the N750, you can opt to have a dual-HDD hard drive support where you can have two 750GB hard drives.
The N550 has a starting price of $1599, while the N750 starts at $2299 . You can find them at your local ASUS retailer. Full spec sheet is below:
