AR.Drone heads to Australia tomorrow

The AR.Drone is one of the most fascinating things to come out from the US. A quadricopter that can be controlled by your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, and basically allows you to pilot the quadricopter and play games – by yourself or against another. And now, we have just heard word that its coming to Australia.

According to an email sent out to AR Drone, it will be coming out tomorrow for $349 and will be sold through Telstra and Fone Zone stores… wait what? Yes, that is what according to the email. The team are also trying to get an online store up and running, but you will be limited to Telstra and Fone Zone.

Anyway, the email is below (truncated, because it does advertise another site), after the jump.

The AR Drone is set to launch tomorrow!

From tomorrow AR.Drone will be available in Australia for $349 and will be initially sold through Telstra and Fone Zone stores.

We are working hard to get the online store up and running but the initial launch will just be with Telstra and Fone Zone.

Good luck tomorrow in getting your hands on one of the first units!
